Brief Description: Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), Government of Karnataka proposes to develop modern abattoirs in 49 identified Urban Local Bodies across Karnataka (5 Corporations and 44 City Municipal Councils (CMC)) by utilizing the 50% GoI grant under the “Scheme for Modernization of Abattoirs across the Country” of Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.  Directorate of Municipal Administration has requested KIPDC (a 50:50 joint venture between KSIIDC and IL&FS) for undertaking the programme management.
